Genital Wart Removal & HPV Management
Genital Wart Removal & Treatment
Genital warts are a common sexually transmitted infection caused by specific strains of HPV. We understand this is a sensitive issue, and we provide a confidential, non-judgmental medical environment for treatment. The priority is to remove the visible lesions to reduce infectivity and improve comfort. Treatment options include Cryotherapy, Radiofrequency ablation, or Laser removal. We also provide counseling on HPV types, vaccination, and partner health.
Frequently Asked Questions
Generally, no. The HPV strains that cause visible genital warts (usually types 6 and 11) are considered “low risk” for cancer. However, we recommend regular screening (Pap smear for women) to rule out high-risk strains.
Removing the warts significantly lowers the viral load and the risk of transmission, but it does not “cure” the virus from the body immediately. Safe sex practices are recommended until full clearance is confirmed over time.
We prioritize your comfort. Local anesthesia is applied before any ablation or laser procedure, making the removal process virtually painless.
Recovery is quick. The treated areas usually heal within 3 to 7 days. We will prescribe post-procedure creams to prevent infection and speed up healing.
Please note that 2026 pricing varies depending on the extent of the condition and the removal method chosen. A personalized treatment protocol and exact cost will be determined by our doctor during your consultation.
